The Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) achieved a 62% growth in profits for the second quarter of 2022 to record 2.3 billion dirhams. The results are in line with analysts' expectations.
According to Arabiya Net, the increase in profits is due to an increase in revenues from the electricity and water generation sector, by 16%, in addition to an increase in revenues from the oil and gas sector by 46%.
The company's board of directors recommended distributing cash dividends to shareholders for the second quarter, at the rate of six tenths of a fils per share, at a value of 675 million dirhams.
