China’s Huawei said it had filed a lawsuit against the US government over part of a defense bill passed last year that imposes restrictions on its dealings in the United States.

Huawei said it had filed a lawsuit with a US court in Texas to challenge its addition to the US National Defense Authorization Act.

The company says the restrictions targeted by the US government are unconstitutional.

The president of the company said that according to the rotation system in the statement of the US Congress, he repeatedly failed to provide any evidence to support his restrictions on Huawei products.

The move comes at a time when Washington is trying to persuade its allies to prevent dealing with Huawei, alleging the existence of spying-related risks, while the Chinese company has repeatedly denied these allegations.
