The Chinese authorities announced today, Wednesday, that the number of deaths due to infection with the (Corona) virus has risen to 1113, and recorded 44,730 confirmed cases in 31 regions, cities and provinces at the level of Throughout China.

The National Health Committee said in its daily report that 2,092 confirmed new cases had been registered, and 97 new deaths, 94 of which were in Hubei Province, central China, an outbreak center. The virus, one death in Henan Province, one in Hunan Province, and a similar case in Chongqing Province.

On the other hand, the committee noted that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region recorded 49 confirmed cases as of the end of Tuesday, including one death, while 10 cases were registered in the Macao Special Administrative Region and 18 cases in Taiwan.
