He considered that government intervention continues at the world level, and work is progressing gradually, as commercial aviation is the backbone of economic activities in the world.
He said that Saudi Arabia will not allow a collapse in any airline in Saudi Arabia, explaining that the driving procedures in the Kingdom were clear in supporting the economic sectors and forming direct support committees for the economy, including activities related to aviation.
He also presented estimates by the IATA Association that there is a need for direct support to airlines around the world of $ 200 billion.
He added that Saudi Arabia attaches this aspect to the interest represented in providing a lot of support on the operational side of airlines, and support for insurance, salaries, and others.
For its part, the International Air Transport Association expected the coming weeks to be more difficult and worse than the weeks that passed for the global aviation sector, expecting airlines to lose $ 39 billion in the current quarter and $ 252 billion in revenue this year.
