The financial statements of Noor Financial Investment Company showed an increase in the company's profits in the first half of this year by 76.7% year on year.
According to the company's data for the Kuwaiti Stock Exchange, today, Sunday, the profits for the period amounted to 8.82 million dinars (12.97 million dollars), compared to profits for the first half of 2020 of 4.99 million dinars. ($4.57 million).
The company said in a statement to the stock exchange that the increase in profits during the comparison periods is mainly due to the increase in investment income, and the increase in profits from investing in associate companies.
The total operating income of the company in the first half of this year amounted to about 16.29 million dinars, compared to 13.48 million dinars in the same period of the previous year, an increase of 20.9%.
The company achieved profits of 3.58 million dinars in the second quarter of this year, compared to profits for the same period in 2020, amounting to 3.90 million dinars, an increase of 17.6%.
Noor Investment's profits jumped 287.5% in the first quarter of this year; To reach 4.239 million dinars, compared to profits for the same period in 2020 of 1.094 million dinars.
