The statistics of the Emirates Central Bank showed that the value of liquidity that the bank withdrew from the market amounted to 22 billion dirhams in 2019.


According to the Emirates News Agency, it is clear from the statistics that the total balance of his certificate of deposit item increased to the level of 160.2 billion dirhams during the year 2019, a growth of 15.9% compared to 138.2 billion dirhams in 2018.


The figures show that the first quarter of last year witnessed an increase in the balance of certificates of deposit with the Central Bank to about 139.2 billion dirhams and an amount of one billion dirhams, compared with December of 2018, and the frequency of the balance increased in the second quarter of the same year, where the value reached 155.8 billion dirhams.

As for the third quarter of last year, it was noted that the Central Bank returned to pump some liquidity into the market, which decreased the balance slightly to approximately 153.8 billion dirhams before returning to rise again in the last quarter of the same year, closing at 160.2 billion dirhams.
