The total cash dividends of about 41 Emirati companies listed on the financial markets amounted to 31.4 billion dirhams for the year 2019.


According to Al Bayan newspaper, these distributions came by 23.3 billion for 25 companies in the Abu Dhabi market and 8.2 billion for 16 companies in the Dubai market.


Abu Dhabi came first in the lead with total distributions of 8.08 billion at 74 fils per share, then Etisalat 6.95 billion at about 80 fils per share, followed by Abu Dhabi Commercial 2.64 billion or the equivalent of 38 fils per share.


In the fourth place, Emirates NBD came in at about 2.52 billion or the equivalent of 40 fils per share, then ADNOC Distribution for a total of 2.38 billion or 19.1 fils per share, then Dubai Islamic with a total of 2.3 billion or 35 fils per share, followed by Aldar Properties at about 1.14 billion or The equivalent of 14.5 fils per share.


Sixth, Mashreq Bank came with a total cash dividend of 710 million dirhams, or 4 dirhams per share, then the National Bank of Ras Al-Khaimah at about 503 million or the equivalent of 30 fils per share.
