Dubai Industrial City intends to reach the number of factories produced to about 300 factories by end of 2021, while the number of factories in the city by end last year 250 factories,
According to Arab Net, Saud Abu al-Shawt, director of the city, said about 420 million dirhams in the city in 2020 in infrastructure and labor housing, expected to pump new investments in 2021 by factories and enterprises as well as persistent expansions.
He added that the city has 64 currently producing food and beverage plants, as well as 12 plants under construction, which is expected to produce early 2022 while land spaces leased in the city reached 120 million square feet of a total of 500 million square feet, According to the Gulf Newspaper.
Abu Al Shawarat said that Dubai Industrial City continues to grow through new investments entered by investors and companies wishing to expand the UAE's industrial sector supported by land, advanced infrastructure and ease of business, as well as the strong logistics in the state.
