The basic chemical industries company profits decreased by 15.8% during the year 2019 to reach 59.3 million riyals, compared to 70.5 million riyals in 2018.
According to Arabia Net, the profit for the year attributable to the company's shareholders during the current year was 41.22 million, compared to 49.67 million for the previous year, a decrease of 17.01%, after excluding non-controlling interests.
The company said that the reason for the decrease in profits during the current period compared to the same period in the previous year is due to:
- Decline in sales, as sales for the current year reached 534.56 million, compared to 605.19 million for the previous year, a decrease of 11.67%.
- Other operating income decreased.
