The financial statements of the UAE Tecom Group, which owns and operates business parks, showed an increase in the group's profits in the first half of this year by 43.4% year on year.
According to the group's results, profits at the end of the first half of this year amounted to about 428 million dirhams.
The group explained that the increase in profits came after double growth in revenues and improvement in operational efficiency, according to the group's data.
Operating revenues at the end of the period amounted to 989 million dirhams, a growth of 15.8% on an annual basis, thanks to the increase in occupancy rates in commercial and industrial assets and the strong growth in revenues, especially from the business and related services sector.
The group's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization in this period increased by 22.4% year-on-year, to reach 723 million dirhams.
