ACWA Power announced the signing of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the National Grid of Uzbekistan for the 200MW Nukus 2 wind and battery storage project in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The company explained, in a statement on the Saudi Stock Exchange, today, Sunday, that the contract period is 25 years, with a total value of 985.13 million riyals (262.7 million US dollars).

She pointed out that the contract includes construction, ownership, operation and transfer at the end of the power purchase agreement term.

The company explained that the financial impact of the operation is expected to become clear after the first half of 2026.

She also pointed out that this project is in the development phase; therefore, we may witness a change in the total investment value upon achieving financial closure.
