The board of directors of Uber approved the acquisition of all shares of the competition, Postmates Food Delivery, for $ 2.65 billion.

This acquisition comes in the wake of the failure to complete Uber's attempt to acquire the GrapHub, which was acquired by the European company Jet IT Take Away for $ 7.3 billion.

The deal would also be the lifeline of Postmates, a nine-year-old company that was one of the startups earlier.
