Henley & Partners responsible for the Henley Passport Global Index, ranks all passports in the world based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the company's research department.

According to the index, Japan came first in the list because the number of countries that can be entered with a Japanese passport without a visa or obtaining a visa on arrival has reached 191 countries .
