The Capital Market Authority of the United Arab Emirates announced the closure of the country’s capital markets, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Dubai Financial Market, on Monday and Tuesday, March 2 and 3, 2026, as part of its supervisory and regulatory role over the country’s capital markets, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
In a press statement issued on Sunday, the authority confirmed that it will continue to closely monitor developments in the region, continuously assess the situation, and take any necessary additional measures in light of developments and emerging issues.
The Authority urges all concerned parties to follow the official channels of the Capital Market Authority, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Dubai Financial Market to stay informed of any further developments.
