Chinese Finance Minister Xu Hongcai was quoted by state media as saying on Wednesday that public revenues in China grew 20% in the first seven months of 2021 compared to the previous period. Same as last year.
State media reported that public expenditures rose 3.3% from January to the end of July compared to the first seven months of 2020.
Xu Hong was also quoted as saying that China's proactive fiscal policy would become more effective and that local governments would continue to curb debt risks.
