The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued a decision to allow the performance of Umrah and the visit gradually while taking the necessary health precautions to confront the Coronavirus pandemic.

1- Re-permitting performing Umrah, entering the Grand Mosque, and visiting the honorable kindergarten in the Prophet's Mosque gradually according to the following stages:

* The first stage: allowing citizens and residents to perform Umrah from within the Kingdom, starting from Sunday 17 Safar 1442 AH corresponding to October 4, 2020 AD, at a rate of 30% (6 thousand Mu'tamer / day) of the absorptive capacity that takes into account the sanitary precautionary measures of the Grand Mosque.

* The second stage: to allow the performance of Umrah, visitation and prayers for citizens and residents from within the Kingdom, starting on Sunday 1 Rabi` al-Awwal 1442 AH corresponding to October 18, 2020 AD, at a rate of 75% (15 thousand pilgrims / day, 40 thousand worshipers / day) of the absorptive capacity that takes into account the health precautionary measures of the Grand Mosque, and also 75% of the absorptive capacity that takes into account the health precautionary measures for the honorable kindergarten in the Prophet’s Mosque.

* The third stage: to allow the performance of Umrah, visitation and prayers for citizens and residents from inside and outside the Kingdom, starting from Sunday 15 Rabi` al-Awwal 1442 AH corresponding to November 1, 2020 AD, until The official announcement of the end of the Corona pandemic or the disappearance of the danger, with 100% (20 thousand pilgrims / day, 60 thousand worshipers / day) of the absorptive capacity that takes into account the sanitary precautionary measures of the Grand Mosque, and 100% of the absorptive capacity that takes into account the health precautionary measures To the Prophet's Mosque, and the arrival of pilgrims and visitors from outside the Kingdom is gradually, and from the countries in which the Ministry of Health decides that there are no health risks related to the Corona pandemic.
