Saudi Arabia's merchandise exports rose by 99.4% in the second quarter of 2021; To reach 238.6 billion riyals, compared to 119.7 billion last year.
The Kingdom's General Authority for Statistics said that petroleum exports increased by more than 126% in the same period.
Non-oil exports in Saudi Arabia increased by 52.1% in the second quarter of 2021 on an annual basis, to reach 65.7 billion riyals, compared to 43.2 billion in 2020. p>
In June, the authority said that non-oil exports increased by 40.5% year on year to reach 23.6 billion riyals, compared to 16.8 billion riyals.
Oil exports also rose in June by 123.2%, reaching a value of 33.7 billion riyals.
On the other hand, the kingdom's imports rose in the second quarter of 2021 by about 12.9% on an annual basis, to record 140 billion riyals, compared to 124.8 in 2020, while imports declined in June By 0.2% to record 46 billion riyals, compared to 46.1 in June of last year.
