Gold futures fell during the Asian session on Tuesday.

According to the Comex classification of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for December delivery were trading at USD4,017.79 per ounce at the time of writing, down 1.39%.

Gold has already traded lower at USD4,003.20 per ounce. It may find support at USD4,003.20 and resistance at USD4,250.00.

Dollar index futures, which measure the performance of the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.10% to trade at USD99.39.

Meanwhile, on Comex, December silver futures fell 2.43% to trade at USD49.48 per ounce, while December copper futures fell 0.68% to trade at USD4.96 per pound.
