Violations of hotels and housing units in Saudi Arabia accounted for nearly two thirds of the violations committed with a total of 658 violations, which accounted for 86.2% of the violations registered by the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in 2018, and the number of 764 violations.
A graphical report by the authority showed that the rest of the violations are distributed among travel agencies with about 90 violations, at a rate of 11.8%, and tour operators with about 12 violations and by 1.8%. Of them, 0.1%.
The authority is working on a set of programs and control initiatives with a number of government partners, to achieve the best levels of oversight and follow-up on the services of tourism establishments.
The authority adopted a special number for communications through which notes are provided on the services provided by tourist establishments via the phone 19988 or the use of technical authority platforms available on various modern means.
