The Board of Directors of (Almarai) recommended to the General Assembly, in its meeting that was held yesterday, Monday, the distribution of cash dividends in the amount of one billion riyals for the fiscal year 2022.
Almarai said in a statement on Tadawul today, Tuesday, that the distributed dividends amount to 10% of the nominal value of the share, at one riyal per share, explaining that the number of shares entitled to dividends amounts to one billion shares.
(Almarai) stated that the dividends will be paid to the company's shareholders registered with the Deposit Center at the end of the second trading day from the day of the company's general assembly.
Almarai also clarified that the date of the company's general assembly meeting will be determined after obtaining the regulatory approvals from the relevant government agencies.
As for the date of dividend distribution, (Almarai) said that the date of dividend payment will be determined after the company's general assembly approves this recommendation.
The company's profits increased by 13.2% in the third quarter of this year, to reach 463.17 million riyals, and profits in the entire nine months increased by 9.9% to 1.404 billion riyals.
