Russian President Vladimir Putin said that current oil prices are acceptable and that his country has the tools to deal with any negative effects of the spread of the Corona virus on the global economy.

According to Russian news agencies, Putin made clear that he viewed the (OPEC +) group as an effective mechanism for maintaining long-term stability.

He added: Russia should be prepared for various possibilities in oil markets after a global decline in crude prices due to concerns about the Corona virus.
