Kuwait Finance House Bank (KFH) said it has received approval from the Central Bank of Bahrain to acquire Bahrain's Ahli United Bank.
Baytak said in a statement to Boursa Kuwait, today, Wednesday, that the approval is conditional on complying with the terms and requirements mentioned in the previous approval dated October 31, 2019, except for the condition that the listing continues Ahli United Bank at Bahrain Bourse.
The statement indicated that the final decisions are subject to the approval of the general assemblies of both banks.
