US President Donald Trump confirmed, via his Twitter account, that recent trade talks with China have been very fruitful.
Trump also confirmed that the Chinese president expressed his support for a meeting between the US President and the North Korean leader, adding that the last thing China wants is large-scale nuclear weapons near it.
Trump is due to meet North Korea's leader in Vietnam next Wednesday and Thursday.
Early this week, CNBC television said, citing sources, China has agreed to purchase $ 1.2 trillion worth of goods from the United States as part of the current negotiations to end the trade war between the two countries.
