The Board of Directors of the UAE Tecom Group Company recommended the distribution of interim cash dividends to the company's shareholders, amounting to 200 million dirhams.
TECOM said that the proposed interim cash dividend of 200 million dirhams is in line with the company's policy for dividends announced earlier this year.
TECOM explained that the company's policy stipulated the distribution of annual cash dividends of 800 million dirhams over the next three years until October 2025, starting with the first payment of 200 million dirhams in October 2022.
The profits of the UAE Tecom increased by 43.4% in the first half of this year, on an annual basis, to reach 428 million dirhams, after double growth in revenues and improvement in operational efficiency.
