The International Monetary Fund maintained its previous forecast for Qatar's economic growth this year at 2.4%, and at 2.2% in 2024.
The Fund also estimated in its World Economic Outlook report that the inflation rate in Qatar would decline to 2.8% this year and then to 2.3% next year.
The report suggested that current accounts this year would constitute about 17.6% of the gross domestic product, amounting to 39.8 billion riyals.
