Bitcoin's price at the $70,000 level is now close, Michael Morsch, the head of the virtual currency hedge fund (ARK36), said in a note Monday. p>
Morsch's comments came in conjunction with the huge jump achieved by Bitcoin (BTC), after its price exceeded the levels of 68,000 dollars for the first time ever.
This rise of the most famous and largest digital currency in the world coincides with a broad rise in digital currencies that pushed the total value of this virtual market above the level of 3 trillion dollars. p>
Bitcoin rose about 3.1% to $68,110.75, according to CoinPass data, exceeding its previous record level recorded in late October, and consolidating its gains this year so far to more than from 130%.
Ethereum cryptocurrency (ETH) rose 1.5% at $4831.5, to cross the $4800 level for the first time ever, while Ripple rose 0.7% to 1.27. dollars.
