The Egyptian government decided to ban the movement of citizens and public and private transport from seven in the evening until six in the morning from Wednesday and for two weeks to contain an outbreak of the Corona virus.

According to Reuters, Mostafa Madbouly, the Egyptian Prime Minister, stated that most public and government services will be closed during the curfew period and that the authorities will apply emergency laws to all those who violate the embargo decisions.


He stated that Egypt had also decided to extend work to suspend the study for an additional 15 days after the end of the current suspension period on March 29.


Madbouly announced the closure of most public and government services during the curfew and the closure of all commercial and craft shops from five in the evening until six in the morning the following day, explaining that this decision does not apply to bakeries, grocery stores, pharmacies and supermarkets.


He explained that it was decided to completely close all commercial and craft shops on Friday and Saturday during the ban period.
