The board of directors of Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has recommended a cash dividend of 5%, by 0.5 riyals per share, for the fiscal year 2020.
According to Arabiya Net, the company said in a statement that the total amount distributed was 385 million riyals, for 770 million shares.
She added that the eligibility for cash distributions will be for shareholders who own shares on the day of entitlement and are registered in the company's shareholders register at the Depository Center at the end of the second trading day following the day of the company's general assembly. To be announced later, the date of distribution will be announced later after the company's general assembly approves this recommendation.
Mobily was able to achieve a net profit for the third quarter of the year 2020, and recorded profits of 222 million Saudi riyals for the third quarter of 2020, an increase of 335%, compared to 51 million SAR for the same quarter of the previous year.
During the 9-month period, Etihad Etisalat Mobily's profits increased by 244% to 537 million riyals, compared to 156 million riyals in the same period last year. / p>
