Today, Thursday, the National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) signed 3 agreements with Pure Harvest for Smart Farms.
According to Arab Net, NADEC said in a statement that the first agreement is a long-term lease agreement in the Nadec city project in Haradh for a period of 20 years, starting from the date of entry into force of the agreement, and it is extendable in relation to the construction, development and operation of the tenant of smart, high-tech agricultural greenhouses in the city of Nadec with an area of not less than for 40 hectares to accommodate future expansions, including the provision of groundwater supplies to the tenant by NADEC for the purpose of the project.
She added that the second agreement is the agreement for utility services, energy and electricity and its accessories, with NADEC providing and selling utility services and energy outputs from the date of operation until the end of the lease agreement.
The third agreement is a framework agreement on cooperation in the provision of common services.
The two parties agreed to enter into a cooperation and partnership regarding NADEC's provision of housing, transportation, emergency and catering services to facilitate the project's work from the date of operation until the end of the agreement.
Nadec said discussions were still ongoing with Pure Harvest regarding possible future strategic cooperation.
NADEC, on July 4, extended a Memorandum of Understanding with Pure Harvest Smart Farms to build and operate approximately 6 hectares (60,000 square meters) of High-tech agricultural greenhouses inside the city of Nadec in Haradh for an additional 4 months.
