Nissan Motor has announced that it has filed a civil suit against Carlos Ghosn, its former chairman.
According to Reuters, the company demanded Ghosn pay 10 billion yen ($ 91 million) in compensation for damages caused by charges of financial misconduct.
Ghosn was facing criminal charges in Japan for not fully disclosing his annual salary and misusing the company’s money, until he fled to Lebanon in December. Ghosn denies any wrongdoing.
