The Dubai Financial Market has enhanced its attractiveness as a destination for foreign investments with the support of strong profits and distributions for listed stocks and the diversity of companies, which expands investors’ options, as investment flows from individuals, institutions and foreigners are witnessing remarkable growth, keeping pace with the state of momentum in the emirate and the prosperity of the basic sectors.
The net investments of non-Arab foreigners in the Dubai market increased by 16% to 618.8 million dirhams, at the end of trading in August 2023, compared to about 534.5 million dirhams during trading last July, which reflects the attractiveness of the market, the confidence of investors and its ability to generate profits.
According to the data, net foreign investments in the Dubai Financial Market achieved the highest position on the stock exchanges in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries during August, which supports the market’s ability to attract more capital and investors, and increase the depth and liquidity of the market during the coming period.
The value of purchases by foreign investors in August amounted to 2.86 billion dirhams, compared to 2.24 billion dirhams for sales.
