Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, approved the general budget of the Emirate of Sharjah with total expenditures of about 34.4 billion dirhams, a growth of 2%.
According to the Emirati newspaper Al Khaleej, the new budget aims to achieve the emirate's strategic vision in economic and social development, enhancing financial sustainability and stimulating the overall economy, provided that the general budget contributes to services and development alike.
The budget is based on the process of strengthening the financial foundations to promote economic, cultural, scientific and tourism leadership and enhance capabilities to meet various economic challenges.
The budget adopted many strategic goals and indicators with an economic, social, scientific and cultural dimension, including promoting investment in infrastructure and other economic activities that achieve a competitive advantage for the emirate and providing social support in terms and methods Variety.
The budget will also provide 1,000 new jobs for new graduates from the government.
