Net investments of foreigners in stocks in the UAE financial markets amounted to 563.398 million dirhams, at the end of last week’s trading.
According to data from the UAE financial markets, foreign investors carried out purchasing operations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi shares worth 2.716 billion dirhams, compared to sales amounting to 2.153 billion dirhams, with a net purchase of 563.398 million dirhams.
Abu Dhabi Securities Market
The value of foreign purchases of shares during the past week on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange amounted to about 1.234 billion dirhams, compared to sales amounting to 1.105 billion dirhams, with a net purchase of 129.745 million dirhams.
On the other hand, Arab investors tended to sell with a net investment of 31,643 million dirhams, as the value of Arab purchases amounted to about 178,352 million dirhams, compared to sales of about 209,996 million dirhams.
Citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries also tended to sell, with a net investment of 84,640 million dirhams, and sales by citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries amounted to 238,849 million dirhams, compared to purchases worth 154,208 million dirhams.
Sales by UAE citizens amounted to about 4.043 billion dirhams, compared to purchases worth 4.030 billion dirhams, with a net sale of 13.462 million dirhams.
Dubai Financial Market
The Dubai Stock Exchange witnessed foreign purchases of shares worth 1.481 billion dirhams, compared to sales of about 1.048 billion dirhams, with a net purchase of 433.652 million dirhams.
Arab investors tended to buy at a value of 189,187 million dirhams, compared to sales worth 177,577 million dirhams, with a net purchase of 11,609 million dirhams.
Purchases by citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries amounted to 409.982 million dirhams, compared to sales transactions of about 187.871 million dirhams, with a net purchase of 222.110 million dirhams.
On the other hand, UAE investors tended to sell at a value of 1.837 billion dirhams, compared to purchases worth 1.403 billion dirhams, with a net sale of 433.652 million dirhams.
