The Dubai Financial Market witnessed a strong performance at the close of trading today, with sector indices closing in positive territory amid investor optimism. This rise was supported by significant market gains and a notable increase in the number of rising stocks, coupled with inflows of buying liquidity primarily concentrated in blue-chip stocks, propelling the general index to a positive jump by the end of the session.
According to statistics based on market data, six leading stocks accounted for AED 872.6 million, equivalent to 85.6% of the total market liquidity of AED 1.019 billion.
Emaar Properties' stock topped the liquidity list alone, accounting for 53.7% of the total market trading value.
Six other stocks also dominated in terms of activity, with 120.7 million shares traded, representing 61.1% of the total trading volume of 197.5 million shares.
Talabat stock came out on top as the most active stock in terms of the number of shares traded, accounting for 21.8% of the total market volume.
