Yesterday, Monday, the State of Kuwait announced the formation of a new government consisting of 12 ministers, according to a decree reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
According to the official account of the Kuwaiti Government Communication Center on Twitter, the government will be headed by Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the eldest son of the current Emir of Kuwait, who was appointed on July 24, 2022, more than two months after accepting the resignation of the previous government.
Muhammad Al-Faris was reappointed as Minister of Oil and Abdul Wahab Al-Rasheed as Minister of Finance.
The previous government had resigned 3 months after its formation - the fourth government to be formed in two and a half years - due to crises with the Kuwaiti National Assembly and the government's complaint about the many interrogations.
