The Gulf Cooperation Council countries agreed on the proposal, Kuwait, to establish a unified Gulf food security network aimed at achieving relative food security for the countries of the system.


According to Arabia Net, the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf has been assigned the technical study.


The Kuwaiti Ministry of Trade and Industry said in a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the Kuwaiti Minister of Trade and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan participated in the second extraordinary meeting through the technology of visual communication between the ministers of trade in the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States, to review the efforts made in the GCC countries to address the implications and effects The Corona Pandemic Pandemic (Covid 19).


The statement stated that the ministers concerned also discussed the economic effects of the emerging coronavirus virus epidemic on Gulf countries and discussed food security.


He pointed out that there are periodic coordination meetings between trade ministers to ensure the flow of goods between the Cooperation Council and resolve any obstacles they face.
