The Board of Directors of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group recommended the distribution of cash dividends to shareholders for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2022 AD, at a rate of 8.6%.
According to Arabiya Net, the company said in a statement that the total distributed amount is 301 million riyals, over 350 million shares entitled to dividends.
The dividend per share will be 0.86 riyals per share.
The company stated that the eligibility date will be the end of trading on Thursday, August 11, 2022 AD, corresponding to Muharram 13, 1444 AH, while the distribution date will be on Monday, August 29, 2022 AD, corresponding to Safar 2, 1444 AH.
The quarterly profits of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group increased by 22.35% in the second quarter of 2022 to 398 million riyals, compared to 325 million riyals in the second quarter of 2021.
On a quarterly basis, profits increased slightly by 1.95%, compared to the profits of the previous quarter, which was 390.5 million riyals.
During the first six months of 2022, the company achieved profits of 788.6 million riyals, compared to 644.4 million riyals, in the corresponding period of 2021, an increase of 22.34%.
The group said in a statement published on the Saudi Tadawul Group website, that the net increase for the second quarter of 2022 AD compared to the same period of the previous year, is mainly due to a revenue growth of 15.01% in the second quarter of 2022 AD to reach 2,014.01 million riyals, an increase of 262.81 million riyals, compared to 1,751.20 million riyals during the same quarter of the previous year, as a result of continued growth in all operational sectors of the group.
The growth in revenues during the second quarter of 2022 AD is mainly due to the hospital sector as a result of the growth in the number of auditors, as well as the increase in occupancy rates in each of the inpatient departments and outpatient clinics of hospitals. Meanwhile, pharmacies sector sales increased compared to the same quarter of the previous year due to the growth in the number of visitors.
The profit (before depreciation, amortization, interest, zakat and taxes - EBITDA) increased during the second quarter of 2022 AD by 88.69 million riyals, reaching 526.72 million riyals, with a growth rate of 20.25% compared to the same quarter of the previous year, and the profit margin ratio (EBITDA) also increased. To reach 26.15% compared to 25.01% in the same quarter of the previous year.
She stated that the percentage of the net income margin increased by 1.19%, reaching 19.77%, compared to 18.58% during the same quarter of the previous year. .
