The Association of Automobile Manufacturers in Brazil has ruled out that auto sales will recover to levels before the Corona pandemic before 2025.

According to Reuters, the federation said that it expects car sales in the largest economy in Latin America to drop by 45 percent in 2020 compared to the previous year, while it is expected to decline. Exports are 53 percent.

Car production in Brazil in June increased by 129 percent from the previous month, but remained 58 percent lower than the same month last year.

Car sales in June grew 113.6 percent in June from the previous month to 132,800 units, but they remained 41 percent lower compared to the same month in 2019.
