The UAE achieved a budget surplus of about 1.8 billion dirhams during the first quarter of 2020

According to the Emirates News Agency, the financial performance report on the implementation of the general budget issued by the Ministry of Finance showed that the actual revenue value of the federal ministries amounted to about 13.24 billion dirhams during the first quarter of The year 2020, with an implementation rate of approximately 21.5% of the total actual budget of 61.355 billion dirhams, while the value of expenses reached 11.447 billion dirhams, with an implementation rate of 18.6%.

According to the report, the value of the revenues of the Ministry of Finance during the first quarter of this year amounted to 8.492 billion dirhams, which constitutes about 64.1% of the total revenues of the federal ministries.

While the value of the revenues of the Ministry of Interior was approximately 228 million dirhams, about 1.6 billion dirhams for the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and 180 million dirhams to the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, and the rest of the revenue was distributed among other ministries.

The financial performance report on the implementation of the general budget of the federal authorities for the first quarter of fiscal year 2020, issued by the Ministry of Finance, showed that the expenses of the Ministry of Interior amounted to 1.77 billion dirhams, while It reached 1.37 billion dirhams in the Ministry of Education, and other federal expenditures amounted to 4.636 billion dirhams, 787 million dirhams to the Ministry of Community Development and 180 million dirhams to the Ministry of Infrastructure Development.
