The financial statements of the Emirates Telecommunications Group showed an increase in the group's profits in the first nine months of this year by 3% year on year, reaching 7.2 billion dirhams.
The company said in a statement to the Abu Dhabi Financial Market, today, Monday, that the increase in profits during the comparison periods is due to the growth of operating revenues by 3% on an annual basis, up to Approximately 40 billion dirhams.
At the quarterly level, the group recorded a profit of 2.43 billion dirhams in the third quarter of this year, a slight increase of 1% year-on-year.
The group said its total subscriber base reached 155.4 million, a year-on-year increase of 4%.
