Today, Wednesday, the Dubai Financial Market canceled the minimum trading commission for listed securities, as part of its initiatives to enhance the participation of individual investors.
According to Arabiya Net, this comes after the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange began canceling the minimum fees for trading commissions in all listed securities starting yesterday.
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange began reducing trading commissions by 50% today, Wednesday, to decrease to 0.025% from 0.05%, which is the second reduction of the commission in the stock exchange this year and the third in three years.
In both markets, trading hours will be extended by one hour from October 3, 2021.
