The Board of Directors of Abdullah Al-Othaim Markets Company approved the distribution of exceptional interim cash dividends of 75% for the third quarter of 2022.

According to Arabiya Net, these distributions come based on the company's exceptional returns as a result of selling its share in the capital of Abdullah Al-Othaim Investment Company and the land of Medina.

Abdullah Al-Othaim Markets Company said, in a statement, that the total amount distributed is 675 million riyals for the number of shares entitled to profits, about 90 million shares.

She added that the share of the share from the distribution amounted to 7.5 riyals, with a distribution ratio to the nominal share value of 75%.

The eligibility for profits will be for the company’s shareholders who own shares at the end of trading on Sunday, November 20, 2022, and who are registered in the shareholders’ register at the Securities Depository Center (Depository Center) at the end of the second trading day following the eligibility date, and the distribution date will be December 1, 2022.

The shareholders of Abdullah Al-Othaim Markets Company had agreed during the Ordinary General Assembly meeting to sell the shares owned by the company in the capital of Abdullah Al-Othaim Investment Company, amounting to about 13.65 million shares, with a total value of about 846.54 million riyals, without any preferential conditions.

As well as selling the land owned by the company in Medina, which has an area of about 105.66 thousand square meters, with a total value of about 211.33 million riyals, without any preferential conditions.
