< Aqua Power Saudi Arabia has signed three agreements worth $ 2.5 billion with the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, in order to raise the efficiency of the electric power generation system and the development of technical expertise.

According to ArabiaNet, among the three agreements concluded, a 25-year energy purchase agreement with a total value of $ 1.2 billion to develop, build, and operate a power generation plant with combined cycle gas turbines with a production capacity of 1,500 megawatts.


This is in addition to an implementation agreement with an investment value ranging between 550 million and 1.1 billion dollars to build wind power plants with a production capacity of 500 to 1,000 megawatts.


And third, a memorandum of understanding to develop a training center to enhance the technical skills of technicians and students in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
