A source at the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) said that the organization will hold an online meeting at 1000 GMT on Thursday, preceding the OPEC+ gathering later the same day to decide on oil production policy.
The source said that the OPEC meeting, which will be held at the ministerial level at 1000 GMT online, is devoted to discussing the organization’s internal affairs and not production policy.
A draft agenda seen by Reuters on Monday said that OPEC+ ministers in an advisory committee called the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee would hold talks at 1300 GMT.
This will be followed by a meeting of the full policy-making group at OPEC+ ministerial level at 1400 GMT, the agenda showed.
The OPEC+ meeting is postponed from November 26.
