The German automobile company Volkswagen has announced the reopening of the headquarters of all its 2,000 distributors in China once again.

According to the newspaper, the company indicated that there are signs of recovery for commercial activity in China.


Europe's largest carmaker added that it has resumed work on 32 of its 33 production sites.


"There are increasing signs of recovery with a good chance that the Chinese auto market in early summer will be able to reach the level of last year," said Stefan Fonlenstein, president of Volkswagen China.


According to the company’s data, 95% of the distributors of its brands, Audi and Skoda, have reopened their headquarters, and the company added that its joint factory with the Chinese (SAIC) company has come back to work this week.
