Egypt's consumption of renewable energy amounted to 2.7% of the country's total energy consumption in 2021, while Morocco's dependence on renewable energy from its total energy mix was 7.1%. For Kuwait, this percentage was 3.5%, while the UAE's consumption of renewable energy was 1.1%. While Algeria relied on renewable energy by 0.4%, and Saudi Arabia by 0.1%.
