Crude oil futures rose during the Asian session on Tuesday.

According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, September crude oil futures were trading at USD74.41 a barrel at the time of writing, up 0.45%.

It was previously traded at a session high of USD74.41 per barrel. Crude Oil may find support at USD73.84 and resistance at USD77.33.

Dollar Index Contracts, which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, fell by 0.06% to trade at USD99.46.

Meanwhile on Nymex, the price of Brent oil for the month of September increased by 0.37% to trade at USD78.79 per barrel, while the spread between Brent and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.38 per barrel.
