Sipchem International has announced the resignation of the company's CEO, Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, from his position, starting today, Sunday, March 24, 2019.

The company said in a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange, that Al-Ohali is the vice chairman and managing director of the company in addition to his position as CEO.

The company explained that Abdullah Saif Al-Saadoun was assigned the position of Group CEO instead of Al-Awhali.

Sipchem indicated that Saudan graduated from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in the year 1980, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.

Al-Saadoun worked after graduating with the Saline Water Conversion Corporation and then moved to Basic Industries Corporation, SABIC, where he held a number of leadership positions.

Al-Saadoun joined Sipchem in the year 2001, to contribute to many of the vital projects that the company implemented during its founding period.
