The exchange rates of the dollar continued to stabilize against the Egyptian pound today, Sunday, while the European currency, the euro and the pound sterling, declined at the beginning of weekly trading.
And in the two largest local banks in terms of assets and transactions, Al-Ahly of Egypt and Egypt, the dollar recorded 30.75 pounds for purchase and 30.85 pounds for sale, and in the Commercial International Bank (EGX:COMI) it recorded 30.85 pounds for purchase and 30.95 pounds for sale.
The average price of the dollar in the Central Bank recorded 30.84 pounds for purchase and 30.93 pounds for sale.
As for the main currencies, the euro prices recorded a decline between 7-9 piasters in buying and selling. In the National Bank of Egypt and Egypt, it recorded 33.65 pounds for purchase and 33.94 pounds for sale, and in the Commercial International Bank, it recorded 33.76 pounds for purchase and 34.06 pounds for sale.
The average price of the euro in the Central Bank was 34 pounds for purchase and 34.12 pounds for sale.
The pound sterling also recorded a decline between 12-15 piasters in buying and selling. In the National Bank of Egypt and Egypt, it recorded 38.95 pounds for purchase and 39.29 pounds for sale, and in the Commercial International Bank, it recorded 39.07 pounds for purchase and 39.42 pounds for sale.
The average price of the pound sterling in the Central Bank was 39.38 pounds for purchase and 39.52 pounds for sale.
As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi riyal recorded 8.19 pounds for purchase and 8.22 pounds for sale, the UAE dirham recorded 8.38 pounds for purchase and 8.39 pounds for sale, and the Kuwaiti dinar recorded 99.35 pounds for purchase and 100.32 pounds for sale, according to the National Bank of Egypt.
