US stock indices rose collectively, at the end of Monday's session, with the Dow Jones index recording its highest level in nearly two years, as investors awaited inflation data and the Federal Reserve's decision.

The Dow Jones Index ended trading at its highest level since January 5, 2022, up 0.4 percent, with a gain of 157 points, at the level of 36,404 points.

The S&P 500 rose 0.4 percent, or 18 points, at 4,622, and the Nasdaq rose 0.2 percent, or 28 points, at 14,432.
